Marissa – Treatment Coordinator
Welcoming new patients and families is my passion here at Thomas Orthodontics. As treatment coordinator, I get to work closely with Dr. Thomas to ensure all aspects of starting treatment run smoothly. We love our patients! I love living and working here in this community. Whether it’s cheering on the sidelines at the baseball fields, or running errands around town, I get to see patients and their families outside of the office all the time and it’s a joy to know so many wonderful people in this great area. I am from the Pacific Northwest and worked 18 years there in Property Management and Banking. I have been married to my husband since 1999 and we have three of the most hilarious and energetic boys on the planet. We love to hike, bike, host parties, and be with extended family near and far.
Kim – Office Manager
I was born in Seeley Lake, Montana. My husband Trent and I live in Elk Ridge and have two amazing kids. My son Morgan, who is 13, and my daughter Kalin, who is 10. We enjoy being outdoors, camping, watching movies, and traveling. I personally love exercising, running, being in the sun, and baking lots of treats. I started working for Thomas Orthodontics in September of 2014. As a patient myself, I know the confidence a beautiful smile can give someone. We have the best patients and I love getting to know them, taking care of them, and being part of their smile transformations!
Mykell – Clinical Coordinator
I graduated from Northern Utah Orthodontic assisting school (NUOA) in 22011. I’ve worked for Dr. Thomas since July 2015 and I couldn’t love it more. I am 24 years old and from Layton, Utah. I LOVE to meet new people and I live to laugh. There is nothing more satisfying than watching patients walk out of our office with a big smile on their face the day they get their braces off and knowing you helped make that happen. I love working out, being with friends and family, being in the sun/outdoors, and traveling.
Amy – Orthodontic Assistant
I am from Payson, Utah and completed school for dental assisting last year. I had the wonderful opportunity to join Dr. Thomas and his team early 2016. I have fun every single day at work with my amazing coworkers and patients! I love getting to spend time with people from my own community and help them grow to love their smiles. I love books, movies, music, having adventures with my best friends, and spending time with my family.
Shawnie – Marketing
I grew up in the Gunnison Valley and graduated as a dental hygienist from CNCC in 2002. It was there I met my husband and we now have two busy boys. They are the love and joy of my life. Dr. Thomas has given me the opportunity to expand my experience in the dental field as their office representative. I enjoy meeting and visiting with the offices in the area and their staff–not to mention bringing them treats to brighten their day.
